Ana is from Slovenia, a small but beautiful country in the Balkans. Due to English not being the first language spoken there, it can be quite hard for Slovenian (or other non-native English speakers) to get TEFL jobs. Luckily for Ana, myTEFL’s Teach in Myanmar internship is open to non-natives and natives alike. Ana fell in love with Myanmar and it’s lush landscape, ancient roots and friendly locals. She also became a huge fan of Burmese cuisine and has taken the recipes back home with her to Slovenia. Sounds delicious!
