While the following is not a “bad” review per se, it’s still only 66% which is far lower than the very high standards we hold for customer satisfaction at myTEFL. Ezra did have a lot of good things to say about myTEFL. He liked the reasonable price, helpful staff, extensive libraries and resources as well as the job placements and internships offered with his course. However, although he feels slightly more optimistic about his abilities to lead a TEFL classroom, Ezra still feels like he lacks the complete confidence he needs to run a successful TEFL class. Ezra also felt that the material fell short of the promised 120 hours and that the question format was redundant without enough practice material.
We’re sorry you’re not completely satisfied with your course Ezra! The syllabus and materials covered in our 120-hour professional online course is exactly the same as in all of our onsite courses which cover everything at a much slower pace of three weeks in a classroom setting full time. In these onsite courses however, much of the 120 hours is spent with the students participating in group discussions, taking notes and listening to lectures; things that are not generally synonymous with self paced, online courses. We are always editing and improving upon our course which does include reducing redundancy and we’re always happy to take student suggestions. We do sincerely apologize that you’re not 100% satisfied with your course Ezra!
