Myanmar is one of the last truly “wild” places in Asia. It’s relatively untouched by tourism and even most seasoned travelers have never set foot in this mystical country. MyTEFL suggested the Teach in Myanmar internship to John after taking his preferences for somewhere authentic and rugged into account. He finished his 120-hour professional course in 4 weeks and then it was off to Yangon for his orientation where he met lots of cool people and discovered Lethwei, a dangerous bare-knuckle boxing sport.
